Halloween Look #1

19 Sep

Hey Guys! I LOVE Halloween time! I always have to try as many looks as possible before I choose one. So I thought I would share with you some of my Halloween looks through out the next few weeks to show you what I like, and to give you some easy ideas!halloween#1Every year I have to be something scary because we go to a “haunted” garage walk-through and volunteer. This look is VERY basic and anyone can achieve it with a little eyeliner and a little lip liner! For the outline of each black marking on my face I used some liquid eyeliner in BLACK (Jesse’s Girl liquid eyeliner). To fill in the lined areas I used the Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel eyeliner in BLACK, and set it with any matte black shadow. For the teeth, I outlined little jagged marks around my lips and then filled them in with NYX eye pencil in WHITE. For the scars on my chest I simply used a dark lipstick (MAC’s Russian Red) and smudged it until it looked realistic enough. Lastly, add a dark reddish eyeshadow to random parts of your face and neck for a bruised effect.  Have Fun! I would love to hear what your favorite Halloween beauty item is in the comments below!

Smashbox Jet Set Waterproof gel eyeliner

11 Aug

I have spent around 6 months looking for what I would call the “perfect” gel liner… I found it a last week and it is the Smashbox Jet Set gel liner! It’s AMAZING! It goes on smoothly, very pigmented, dries fast, and stays put for the entire day! I got mine at ULTA for $22.00. I was a little scared of the price at first, but when I got it I loved it! If your in need of a great gel liner this is it! now that i found the perfect gel liner, whats your favorite LIQUID liner? i would love recommendations!smashliner

Teal and Brown Gradient Eyeshadow Tutorial

Teal and Brown Gradient Eyeshadow Tutorial

So I have been wanting to do a look like this for so long! I couldn’t wait for summer to come around! This is a really basic look with only three colors and some liner and lashes! here’s what I did: First things first with using my favorite primer (Urban Decay- Original). Next I started to pat on some teal eyeshadow ( Sephora- Curacao Punch) all the way to my crease until I reach a good pigmentation. I used a dark brown eyeshadow (SMASHBOX- Smashing Portrait) in my crease for a more defined eye. To give my eye a more gradient effect I used a light brown ( Sephora- Sunday Brunch) to blend the darker brown out. After I decided the shadow was good, I started to wing my gel liner (Maybelline Eyestudio- Blackest Black). After a small coat of mascara I applied my favorite lashes (Red Cherry #523) and all done! It may sound like a lot, but it only took a few minutes! Hope you liked this tutorial! Let me know if you’ve used any of these products!
