Quinoa: A Superfood

21 Jul

QuinoaQuinoa Is one of the newest additions to my diet. It is full of so many things that benefit you! I love making mine in a soup, a salad, or as a side dish. It is so easy to add your favorite vegetables and spices for there are countless combinations! (I like mine with Kale, Olive Oil, and finely grated cheese!) It is very filling and easy to digest. Here are some of their benefits:

  • High In protein and Calcium.
  • Rich in Iron, Phosphorus, Magnesium, and Fiber
  • Contains all essential amino acids
  • Contains Lysine
  • Great for Vegetarians, Vegans, and people who are lactose intolerant
This is one of my favorite Quinoa recipes! you can find this one and many more at http://www.cookinglight.com/food/recipe-finder/cooking-with-quinoa-00412000073996/
